Nigerian Independence Day Inc. (NFP) is a nonprofit organization that has submitted its application to the IRS for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3); that application is currently pending. All funds earned or donated are used solely to pursue the group’s objectives and cover running costs, in keeping with the governance and accountability standards expected of a nonprofit organization.

Nigerian Independence Day Inc. will provide appropriate acknowledgment language in accordance with applicable rules. Sponsors should consult their tax advisers regarding deductibility.
